HOW KOVARIYA HANDLES YOUR CHILD'S INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KOVARIYA collects, uses, shares, and protects information gathered through the Platform, and the rights parents and guardians have over that information. It should be read alongside the KOVARIYA Parent User Agreement.

APPLIES TO PARENTS & GUARDIANS

01Eligibility

KOVARIYA is intended for use by parents and legal guardians on behalf of their children. By registering on the Platform, you confirm that you are authorised to provide information relating to the child and that the information submitted is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

KOVARIYA reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where information is found to be false, misleading, or unauthorised.

02Information we collect

To provide the KOVARIYA Platform and its services, we may collect information reasonably necessary to create and manage accounts, support child development programs, deliver educational content, generate reports and insights, facilitate participation in activities and missions, maintain platform security, communicate with users, and improve the overall user experience.

Information may be obtained directly from parents, participating schools, authorised users, or through normal use of the Platform. KOVARIYA is committed to collecting only the information reasonably required to provide its services and fulfil its educational and operational objectives.

03How we use information

Information collected through the Platform may be used to provide services, manage accounts, support participation in programs and activities, generate reports and insights, improve platform functionality, maintain security, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Where appropriate, information may also be used to improve existing services, develop new features, and enhance the overall experience of participating families and schools.

04School ID verification

KOVARIYA may use a School ID verification system to support authorised onboarding and participation. Participating schools may provide limited information required to verify eligibility and facilitate registration.

The purpose of this process is to maintain the integrity of the Platform and ensure that participation is linked to authorised school communities.

05Behaviour ratings & observations

The Platform may allow parents to submit behaviour ratings, observations, progress records, and participation information relating to their child.

These submissions are intended to support awareness, reflection, and positive development. Parents acknowledge that behavioural observations are subjective and may vary between individuals and circumstances.

Behaviour ratings should not be interpreted as professional assessments, diagnoses, or evaluations.

06AI reports & insights

KOVARIYA may use technology-assisted tools, analytics systems, and Artificial Intelligence to generate reports, summaries, recommendations, participation insights, and developmental observations based on information available within the Platform.

These insights are intended to support awareness and engagement and should not be considered medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or professional advice. Final decisions regarding a child remain the responsibility of parents and guardians.

While KOVARIYA aims to provide meaningful insights, no guarantee is made regarding the accuracy, completeness, or future outcomes associated with any report, recommendation, or prediction.

07Who can access information

KOVARIYA is designed with family privacy in mind. Parents may access information relating to their own child through authorised accounts.

Participating schools generally receive only aggregated and anonymous information intended to help understand participation and engagement trends. Schools do not normally receive access to individual behaviour ratings, parent comments, Family Scores, individual AI reports, or detailed behavioural records unless separately authorised by the parent or required by law.

Authorised KOVARIYA personnel may access information where reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, provide services, support users, or maintain security.

08Photos, videos & user content

The Platform may allow users to upload photographs, videos, certificates, mission evidence, and other content related to participation in KOVARIYA activities.

By voluntarily uploading such content, you authorise KOVARIYA to store, process, and use the content for service delivery, mission verification, reporting, platform functionality, and related operational purposes.

KOVARIYA will not knowingly use a child's image in public promotional materials without appropriate consent.

10Child safety

KOVARIYA is committed to promoting a safe and respectful environment for children. All authorised mentors, representatives, and personnel are expected to follow child safety principles, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, and conduct themselves in a responsible and respectful manner.

Concerns relating to child safety may be reported through official KOVARIYA support channels and will be reviewed in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

11Data security

KOVARIYA implements reasonable technical, organisational, and administrative measures designed to protect information from unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

While every reasonable effort is made to maintain security, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute protection against all risks.

12Data retention

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain records, support program operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, improve services, and protect the legitimate interests of KOVARIYA and its users.

Information may subsequently be deleted, anonymised, archived, or retained as required by law.

13Parent rights

Subject to applicable laws, parents may request access to information relating to their account, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information where legally permissible, or withdrawal of consent where applicable.

Certain information may continue to be retained where required for legal, operational, security, or compliance purposes.

17Governing law

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India.
